The listing that brings you customers, and what to do when it disappears
For a local business the Business Profile is often worth more than the website. It is also the asset that can vanish overnight with no warning and no stated reason.
The short answer
Most suspensions come from four things: the address type, the category, a keyword-stuffed business name, or a risky bulk edit. We diagnose which one hit you, fix the underlying cause, then file the appeal properly.
What is included
Full profile optimisation and category strategy
Video verification, including repeat failures
Suspension diagnosis and reinstatement appeals
Multi-location and bulk management
Review generation and response systems
We identify the specific guideline that triggered it, fix the underlying cause, then file the appeal with the evidence Google actually wants.
Optimisation
Categories, services, attributes, hours, products, photos, and a review system that generates them without breaking Google’s rules on incentives. The category choice alone moves map pack position more than most on-page work.
Verification
Video verification fails repeatedly for a predictable reason: what the video does not show. Signage, interior, equipment and proof of access all need to be captured in one unbroken take. We script it before you film it.
When it goes wrong
Google rarely tells you why a profile was suspended. Filing an appeal without knowing usually burns it, and a rejected appeal makes the second one harder. So the work is diagnosis first.
The four causes we see
- Address type. A rented mailing address you do not operate from is not eligible for a profile at all. A coworking desk only qualifies with permanent signage, your own staff on site during posted hours, and customers actually received there.
- Business name. Keywords in the name is the single most reported violation, and a competitor can report it in two clicks.
- Category. Some categories draw extra review by default and are reinstated more slowly.
- Edits. Address changes push a listing back into review. Bulk edits across several listings in a short window look like manipulation even when each edit was legitimate.
